Many congratulations to Animation Apprentice graduate Steve Woodhouse who has founded his own successful architectural visualisation company - Skyline Visuals. 

Skyline Visuals creates  3D visuals & photomontage for the architecture & landscape industry.  Skyline Visuals "provides effective solutions to assist with planning pipeline and visual marketing".

While studying at Animation Apprentice, Steve Woodhouse developed his general 3d skills to embrace architectural renders.  

This kind of general 3D work, encompassing modelling, texturing and lighting, is highly complementary to the study of animation, and a great addition to Steve's digital skillset. 

3D Generalist

Animators are increasingly expected to have a working understanding of the rest of the CG pipeline, especially in smaller studios, where multi-tasking is often necessary. 

And, of course, if you are making your own film, then a knowledge of the whole process is more or less essential.
