ILM Offers Industry Advice to Animation Graduates

ILM Education Series 2.0

VFX powerhouse Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) is offering a series of free industry panels offering advice for recent graduates looking to break into the animation and visual effects industry.

Known as the ILM Education Series 2.0, ILM is offering two dates, Thursday 9 November at 5pm, and Wednesday 29 November at 5pm. The events are free.

ILM Education Series 2.0

ILM Education Series 2.0 is an online speaker series that includes useful tips & tricks ranging from what a Supervisor does to how to get through the door once you graduate.  ILM's aim is to create a platform where students can ask questions and be inspired to either start their VFX journey or continue working towards their dreams of working on exciting projects.

ILM Education Series 2.0 sessions are virtual and free.

Events

Thursday 9th November: [5-6pm] “What I Wish I’d Known” - A panel with ILM artists sharing their tips & tricks on what they wish they knew before joining the industry. We’ll also open it up to questions so please bring them along

Wednesday 29th November: [5-6pm] Meet a VFX Supervisor! Oscar-winning VFX Supervisor Andrew Whitehurst will share his experiences on what it’s like to be a VFX supervisor - and how VFX supervisors help the artists.  Please bring any questions you may have.
