Journey of Life Hon Mention at Florence Film Awards

Congratulations to Animation Apprentice student Robin Herrman whose short film "Journey of Life" has won an Honourable Mention in the category of Animation at the Florence Film Awards.

"Journey of Life" was written, produced and directed by Robin, currently studying for his MA in 3D Animation with our degree-awarding partner Buckinghamshire New University.  This is the film's third festival award.

"Journey of Life"  is a new short film created by Animation Apprentice student Robin Herrman.  "Journey of Life" was written, produced and directed by Robin, currently studying for his MA in 3D Animation at Bucks.   "Journey of Life"  was completed during the course of Robin's studies at BNU, and is currently being entered into film festivals.

"Journey of Life" was created as part of the first module of the Master's Degree in 3D Animation, Module DA701.

Festival Success

Journey of Life has won three festival awards:

• Honourable Mention in the category of Animation at the Florence Film Awards.
• "Best First Time Director" at the Halicarnassus Film Festival. 
• "Best First Time Director" at the Vesuvius Film Festival
