Meet Oscar Winning VFX Supervisor Paul Franklin on Thursday December 10th

Oscar Winning VFX Supervisor Paul Franklin is being interviewed in Stoke Newington, near London, on Thursday December 10th, to talk about some of his work in visual effects.

Paul Franklin has collected Oscars for films like Inception, which broke fresh ground in the VFX industry, creating extraordinary effects.

He is also an excellent and entertaining speaker, and we highly recommend that any students who are in the area attend what will be a fascinating evening.



Where and when is this event?
The event is organised by Soundstage and takes place on Thursday December 10th, at The Others, 6 Manor Road, Stoke Newington. Doors open at 7pm, and the event starts at 7:30pm.

Take the Picadilly line to Manor House, or take the overground train to Stoke Newington.

Who is Paul Franklin?
Paul Franklin was the visual effects supervisor for Christopher Nolan’s spectacular space epic, Interstellar.  He also supervised the visual effects for Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy and Inception. He was also the co-founder of Double Negative, the company that created visual effects for Spectre, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Mission Impossible, among many others.  Nolan has won two Oscars, for Interstellar and Inception.  .
