Phil has been successfully working as a freelance animator, illustrator and designer for some time, building on the skills he has learned at Animation Apprentice.
2017 has been a fantastic year for our students finding work in the animation industry. To see some of our recent success stories, follow this link.
Phil will be creating motion graphics for US shows that will be broadcast in Europe. Discovery primarily use Adobe After Effects for the motion graphics and animation as well as (possibly) some Cinema4D.
The position is a new role within Discovery, doing work that had previously been outsourced, so there will be plenty of room for development.
Phil said "I believe it will be a great opportunity to learn about post production workflows and pipelines in television and developing my skills and experience."
