Animation Apprentice visited King Bee Animation last week, for a one day animation workshop introducing students to the art and craft of animation.

King Bee is located in the historic Elstree Studios in North London, notable for being the location of the original 1977 Star Wars movie.

King Bee is an independent animation studio based in historic Elstree Studios, North London.   King Bee Animation is owned and run by animator Martyn Niman, 

Flip-a-Clip

The King Bee animation workshop used the free software "Flip-a-Clip", which can be downloaded from the Apple Store.  Animation was done on the iPad with an iPad stylus.
