Improv for Animators Starts October 7th

Improv with Bruce MacKinnon and Framestore
Actor and comedian Bruce McKinnon, (The Office, Guardians of The Galaxy, Bohemian Rhapsody, Inside No.9, Black Mirror) has teamed up with Ross Burgess, Head of animation at Framestore, to create a "fun and fast paced improv course, specifically designed for animators", starting on 7th October in Central London.

The purpose of the class is to "push animators creatively and explore through workshop how actors approach character movement and comedic storytelling."

As we know, animators are actors (we must give a performance), and we strongly recommend our students take acting classes in order to improve their acting skills and choices.

Bruce MacKinnon
Improv for animators
The course builds on improv courses run at Framestore, the success of which has led to MacKinnon opening up the classes to animators across the city.

Animation industry participation
MacKinnon ran a similar course at Framestore and has now decided to open the class to other animation houses. So far they have taken bookings from ILM, Jellyfish and Framestore, so this event promises to be a great opportunity to network with London-based animators.

Where and when
This six week class starts on Monday 7th October and runs through to Monday November 11th. Class starts at 7pm and finishes at 8.30pm. It takes place at the London Welsh Centre at 157-163 Gray's Inn Road, London WCX 8UE, in Central London.

Cost
The class costs £150 for the full 6 weeks.
