Animation Taster Day at Escape Studios on Wednesday 2 December!

Not sure if 3D Animation is for you, but you'd like to try it out?

Anyone in the London area who would like to do a one-off "taster day" for 3D animation should come along to Escape Studios on Wednesday 2 December.

I'll be hosting a one-day class to introduce students to the key tools for 3D animation, and get to grips with some cool character and creature animation. The day costs £25, and is bookable through the Escape Studios website.

What's this all about?
This one-day taster course lets you get an introduction to the art of 3D Animation as well as explore what it’s like to work as a professional animator.

When and where is it happening?
Wednesday 2 December 2015 at Escape Studios, Shepherds West, Rockley Road, London W14 0DA, from 9:30am until 5pm. To sign up, follow this link. Escape Studios is super easy to reach, just a short walk from Shepherd's Bush Tube Station.

How much does it cost?
£25.00. And this is refundable if you book onto a course at Escape Studios.

Does Escape Studios provide lunch...and coffee?
They do! Lunch and coffee is free!

What will you learn?
Working with tools such as Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop, you’ll get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques. We'll be doing some cool stuff in the classroom, and by the end of the day you will have your very own piece of animation uploaded to YouTube!

Who is teaching it?
I am. I have worked on over 25 animated feature films, from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" to "Lion King", The Iron Giant, Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter.   You can see some of my work below.
