Animation Taster Days Aug 24, Sept 13 & 27

Want to try computer animation, but not sure if it's right for you? Come along to an Animation Taster Day in London on Monday 24 August, or September 13th and 27th.

Animation Taster Days are all about helping prospective students learn about character and creature animation, and find out what an animator's job is all about.

The classes take place at Escape Studios in Shepherd's Bush, West London. You will work with Autodesk Maya and the Adobe Creative Suite, and you’ll get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques, all for just £25!  By the end of the day you'll have your own piece of animation uploaded to your YouTube channel.  So, how do you sign up?

What's this all about?
This one-day taster course gives you get an introduction to the art of 3D Animation. You will also explore what it’s like to work as a professional animator. We'll take you through the animation process from start to finish, ending up with a finished movie file.

When and where is it happening?
August 24th, and September 13th & 27th at Escape Studios, Shepherds West, Rockley Road, London W14 0DA, from 9:30am until 4pm. To sign up, follow this link.

Escape Studios is a short walk from Shepherd's Bush Tube Station, Shepherd's Bush Market Tube Station, Goldhawk Rd Tube Station, and Shepherd's Bush Overground. And tons of bus routes.

Who is teaching it?
I'll be teaching the two September taster days - though not the one on August 13th. I have worked on over twenty five animated feature films, from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" to "Lion King", The Iron Giant, Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter.   You can see some of my work below.
